1. Mittelstadt to the wing

It looks like Casey Mittelstadt will play be playing left wing today for the Sabres. He practiced on a line yesterday with Johan Larsson and Jason Pominville. We’ll see if Phil Housley goes through it and how it works out.

2. Landeskog Out

The Avs will be without one of their key players today. Gabriel Landeskog is out four to six weeks with an upper-body injury after colliding with Ben Bishop of the Dallas Stars the other night.
