There’s more bad news on the injury front for the Sabres. After losing Tyler Ennis for the next few weeks due to a hit against the Capitals, the Sabres will now be without Nick Deslauriers as well. The pesky fourth-line winger will miss the next three to five weeks with a foot injury.
Deslauriers reportedly was wearing a walking boot last night at the Sabres’ Bowl-A-Rama event.
The Sabres called up Tim Schaller this morning to take his place. He was skating alongside Girgensons and Legwand at practice this morning and got some time on the penalty kill as well.
