NHL Playoffs Open Thread 4/18/2016

After some consecutive four-game days of playoffs hockey, we get some space tonight with three games on tap. Coincidentally, all three series are poised at 2-0.

The Washington Capitals are in Philadelphia to take on the Flyers, with the Caps leading the series 2-0. The home side tonight has a point or two to prove after being brushed aside so far, so expect another hard-hitting game. Puck drop is at 7pm EST.

At 8:30pm EST, the Minnesota Wild will attempt to claw back into their series against the Dallas Stars on home ice. The Wild have been outclassed on the road so far, and are down 2-0 in the series.

Finally, the San Jose Sharks are halfway through engineering a massive upset, having beaten the Los Angeles Kings in both games on the road. At 2-0 down and away from home, can the Kings stay in contention tonight? Puck drop will be at 10:30pm EST.
