MSG To Re-Air May Day Game Tonight

As a public service announcement to all Sabres fans who don’t feel like watching Monday Night Football or the final Presidential Debate, MSG will be re-airing the famous May Day game tonight at 8pm.

The game is most famous for the iconic May Day call that finished in the Final Four of our Best of Rick Jeanneret series this summer, but featured plenty of other Sabres and Bruins greats, from Alexander Mogilny and Pat LaFontaine to Ray Borque.

MSG will also be airing “Buffalo Sabres: French Connection Statue Unveiling” tonight at 7pm. This hour-long special was filmed during the statue unveiling on October 12, and features the speeches from everyone involved, including Gilbert Perreault, Rene Robert, and Terry Pegula.

Think of it this way, there will be more exciting action and less frustrated yelling than either the football game or the debate.
