Welcome to another new weekly post to the site. The highlight of the week idea isn’t revolutionary by any means. A few other SB Nation sites put together something similar. Just another way to have some fun discussions and vote on the best plays of the week that was.
Luckily, our first highlight of the week voting is from one of the best weeks of the season.
1. Jack Eichel’s Overtime Goal vs Calgary Flames
Eichel got the Sabres road trip off to a good start with a rocket shot to win the game for his club against the Flames.
2. Ryan O’Reilly’s Tic-Tac-Toe Goal vs Edmonton Oilers
This was one of the prettier goals of the season for the Sabres as the power play starts to get back on track.
3. Nick Baptiste’s Goal vs Vancouver Canucks
Nick Baptiste with a goal scorers goal for his first of the season.
4. Chad Johnson Save on Johnny Gaudreau
Johnson makes a nice at the end of the first period on Gaudreau to keep the score tied at one.
