The Buffalo Sabres season is slowly petering out once again to a frustrating end, and a West Coast road trip against possession-hungry teams was the last thing the Sabres needed.
Buffalo mustered two goals from open play on the road trip, with Eichel scoring one and providing the assist on the other as he attempts to maintain his almost point-per-game pace.
