This was an interesting roller-coaster week for the Buffalo Sabres. They finished off a West Coast trip with a jaunt through Motor City, playing their last game at the Joe Louis Arena.
Then there was a home game against the Pens with some contentious decisions from the referees marring a good contest, and the week finished off with cross-border rivals the Leafs coming to town with their hordes of fans, who then crawled back over the Peace Bridge losers on the night but likely still headed to the playoffs.
