Grading the Buffalo Sabres - Week ending 12/04/16

Vote in the player grades polls for this last week

The Buffalo Sabres got a very important cog back from injury as Jack Eichel played his first three games of the season, and immediately sparked an offensive revival. The difference was immediately noticeable as the Sabres looked a different team, potting ten goals in three games after struggling to score more than once for almost a dozen games before that.

Evander Kane finally scored his first of the season, Sam Reinhart looked great and the trickle down effect was noticed all over the squad. Even emergency recall from juniors Brendan Guhle had a very good game yesterday against the Bruins.

As always, we’ve got all the forwards and defensemen who played over the past week in the grading.

We’re sticking with the Corsi For % as well the stats beyond just the goals, assists and +/-. For Dan Bylsma we’ve added the team’s overall Corsi For % as a measurable stat.
