I have competed in baseball at college and football in high school. Though, my eyes tell me, hockey is the sport that takes competition to the marathonnlevel. No disrespect meant to other pros. They also have used their skill and their fortunate environment with determination to be professionals.
Zach Benson will be a special player. We all seen is relentless work effort. His mindset is very impressive at such a young age. Sabres had to throw a rope around him so he would not hurt himself. This young man is determined to succeed. My analogy is he competes at a hockey level when compared to other hockey players. When his boyish body matures to manhood, his determination and his compete will still be with him. His puck retrieval along the boards now is good. Without question it will become exceptional and that is just one part of the game. Love to play on his line.
