On Monday, December 29th, 2025, Sabres Goaltender Alex Lyon sustained a lower-body Injury in the Sabres game vs the Blues in St. Louis. This post will be used to update Lyon’s status until he is fully recovered and ready to play again.
December 30th, 2025: It was announced that Lyon suffered a lower-body injury against the Blues on December 29th. He did not practice on Tuesday and returned to Buffalo for further evaluation.
Per coach Lindy Ruff, Alex Lyon is returning to Buffalo to be evaluated for a lower-body injury and will miss “a bit of time.”
