Overall Thoughts
It’s been a rough time for the Amerks so far, though it is only four games into their young season. On the plus side, Jack Quinn and JJ Peterka are performing as expected and absolutely tearing it up offensively. I can’t wait to see what they can do with the Buffalo Sabres down the line. On the minus side, Ukko-Pekka Luukonen hasn’t looked great so far. As others have pointed out, there are also some questionable roster choices being made right now, which further makes us wonder why Appert is playing his team this way:
Jankowski puts up 4 apples in his first two games as an Amerk… and he’s scratched? 3F in the press box but your going with 11F/7D as your roster? Someone must be injured and I just haven’t heard the news.
