Die By The Blade Playoffs Bracket & Pick n’ Mix – Round Two

*UPDATE* The first round of the NHL Playoffs are now complete.

For the Bracket competition, here are the links to: Playoffs Bracket Rd2 & the Brackets Scoreboard – after Rd 1 the leaders are ZJW5150 & nwobigboy, both with 6pts.

For the Pick n’ Mix competition, here is the link to the Scoreboard – after Rd 1 Ubiquitous leads the way with 13pts, tied in second with 12pts are Michael Brady and allhopeisnotgone, and in third with 11pts are bflo and Seanicus17.

While the Eastern Conference has three series going to Game Seven, the Western Conference is already cut and dried and know who’s playing who and when. Phoenix take on Nashville starting Friday, while new top seed St. Louis play Los Angeles on Saturday.

The pot has been sweetened for both fantasy contests, with the winner getting a $25 gift card to the NHL Shop. Stay tuned after the jump to put in your picks for the Western Conference in both contests, and also to get in on the action in case you missed the first round.

The leaderboard has been updated, see note above. To make your picks, name the team you select to win in the comments:

Starting April 28th – #1 New York Rangers vs #7 Washington Capitals
Starting April 29th – #5 Philadelphia Flyers vs #6 New Jersey Devils

Starting April 27th – #3 Phoenix Coyotes vs #4 Nashville Predators
Starting April 28th – #2 St. Louis Blues vs #8 Los Angeles Kings

Each correct pick will garner you one point, and the person with the most points after the Stanley Cup Final is played wins it all. It’s not too late to play if you missed the first round, but you’ll have quite the handicap to overcome, so show us your hockey smarts.
