We’re settling in for a long winter here with little comfort from our sports teams. The Buffalo Sabres chances of making the playoffs are hovering in the single digits, soon to become non-existent and now it looks like Jack Quinn is hurt again and that pretty much extinguishes any signs of a late season comeback for the Sabres.
There is a short midseason break now however for the All Star Weekend, which is much-needed time for the Buffalo side to heal up and get their heads right, and of course, General Manager Kevyn Adams gets some time to also think about where this roster is headed and what he could do to shake things up.
