3/17 – St. Patrick’s Day dawned with the promise that we’d be drowning our sorrows like true Irishmen instead the Sabres did a thing and put Ralph Krueger out of his misery finally. Don Granato takes over on an interim basis, with Matt Ellis and Dan Girardi as his assistants.
No? See y’all next week. There’s some games this week for the Sabres to try and get closer to the record of the most losses (18) in NHL history – vs Capitals Mon 3/15, at Devils Tue 3/16, vs Bruins Thu 3/18, & vs Bruins Sat 3/20.
