DBTB Open Thread: Surgery Incoming?

Hearing Eichel could have surgery very soon, and December would be the earliest return. The asking price is extremely high at this point, between 4 and 6 pieces. With Brisson now repping this process will get moving.

According to Shawn Simpson of TSN, Jack is getting the surgery shortly. Looks like Jack has realized he’d rather play & get the less desirable surgery than play the long game with the Sabres.

We shall see if this means a team will take Jack on now, considering he likely had the safer procedure (I am guessing he did not win his negotiations lol), or if he’ll get moved just before the trade deadline.

Outside of Jack, Canada will face USA tonight at 7:30 PM EST for the IIHF Women’s World Championships. The game will be televised on TSN and NHL Network.
