We kicked off our second series of the preseason last night for Beyond The Blade podcast. It was the first episode of our preseason analytics conversations I’ll be having with a few prominent folks in that community.
Up first was Dom Luszczyszyn from The Athletic NHL. We discussed his Buffalo Sabres season preview that he put out a little over a week ago. We went through the forwards, defense, goaltending, and even talked a little bit about the coaching. The conversation also led us to focus on a few specific players such as Rasmus Ristolainen, Brandon Montour, and Sam Reinhart.
