The podcast started off this weekend on a sad note. We said goodbye to Bill as one of our podcast co-hosts. He decided to retire from the podcast life, which leaves Anthony and I as the hosts moving forward.
After that we got into a long discussion on the current state of the Buffalo Sabres blue line. Most of our conversation focused on two defenders in particular, Brandon Montour and Jake McCabe. The bit of irony of their performances is that they actually player well together as a pair, but we haven’t seen it much.
Then after the break we got into a little bit of NHL Draft talk. Finished things off, per usual, answering a few fan questions on Jason Botterill.
