The latest episode of Beyond The Blade was posted over the weekend. We touched on a variety of topics this week including the NHL trade deadline.
We started off the podcast by reviewing the trades the Buffalo Sabres made last week. We broke down the potential impacts of forwards Wayne Simmonds and Dominik Kahun for the remainder of the season.
After that the conversation shifted to a discussion on Ralph Krueger and Jason Botterill. We discussed how Kruger has done as head coach through his first season and Dave Pagnotta’s comments on Jason Botterill from the Chel Squared podcast.
The second half of the podcast was driven by fan questions per usual. The focus was on the NHL trade deadline and I shared some details on what went on throughout the day. Including the trade that almost was for Josh Anderson.
