A new episode of Beyond The Blade is live for your listening pleasure. It’s been a little over a week since our last episode and a lot went down with the Buffalo Sabres of that timeframe.
We started things off by talking about the Sabres failing to take advantage of their home schedule out of the All-Star break. Any faint hopes of being in the playoff race are gone at this point and we’re left with months of pointless hockey, again.
After that we get into a discussion about Brandon Montour. We try to figure out what he is for the Sabres and if he should be part of the plan moving forward into the future.
In the second half of the episode we discuss over 20 fan questions we received this week. Topics include the state of the team, Jason Botterill’s future, trade deadline, and more.
