The Sabres find themselves in no man’s land with the bye week coming up

Another episode of Beyond The Blade is up for your enjoyment. The Buffalo Sabres have two more games before their bye week and are barely still a factor in the playoff race in the Eastern Conference.

This week we spend a lot of time in the beginning of the episode talking about Jason Botterill. We discuss some comments from his interview on WGR550 on Tuesday evening and if we have faith that he is the person to turn this team around.

After that we get into how many points out of the final playoff spot the Sabres need to be for us to consider them having a realistic chance of getting into the postseason. It’s not an impossible task, but the Sabres will need to pick up roughly 67% of their remaining points to have a chance.
