A new episode of Beyond The Blade is live and the primary focus this week is on the hot start to the season for the Buffalo Sabres. They came out of the gate firing on all cylinders with dominating wins over the Pittsburgh Penguins and New Jersey Devils.
We start the episode by quickly recapping the first two games and trying to get grasp on the unexpected hot start. We transition into the players that have really stood out, as well as, the new system that has the Sabres looking like an improved team.
In the second half of the podcast we spend some time answering questions that we received from fans. We touch on topics such as the Stanley Cup parade route, new system, what happens when Brandon Montour gets back from injury, and how to properly measure game analytics with score effects.
