This is it, we’re entering another Buffalo Sabres season. Whether it will end once again in futility or finally break the playoff drought remains to be seen, but the optimism level going into the season definitely feels lower than recent years.
The Sabres haven’t gone all out in the offseason in the free agent or trade markets so already a lot of the fanbase are frustrated, but with injuries racking up like the team have been put through the meat grinder even before the season starts, it’s getting worse already.
