We’re into the last week of July and edging ever closer towards a new season of hockey. The Buffalo Sabres avoided salary arbitration by signing defenseman Conor Timmins to a two-year contract with an AAV of $2.2 million. Timmins came to Buffalo along with Isaac BelliveauĀ in a trade that sent Connor Clifton to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The only unsigned restricted free agent for the Sabres right now is goaltender Devon Levi.
