Another week where we made some forward progress, only to give it right back again. For many fans, that debacle on Friday against the Pens was the final straw, and who can blame them. It has been very frustrating to watch the Buffalo Sabres.

For those who follow the foosball amongst us, it’s also Victory Monday, which hopefully is some sort of salve for all the terrors the Sabres put us through.

Buffalo are off on a road trip, and just as well because one can only assume fans at home games are not going to be very kind to the Sabres. Apart from tonight we’re going to have some #SabresAfterDark hockey, which worked out really well earlier this season. That was just before Thanksgiving when they came back 3-0 from the West Coast and sitting in an automatic playoff berth. <wistfully gazing into the past>
