Here’s an open thread for discussing all matters Buffalo Sabres and NHL related for this week. Of course, you can talk about anything else you like too.
Just going to go straight out and say this – at least the tank years were better because we could see a plan to it. This.. whatever you want to call this current situation, just makes no sense and with the GM Kevyn Adams going full-turtle along with the Pegulas, it’s becoming quite apparent to the fans of the Sabres that there appears to be no long-term vision. Heck, there’s no mid- or short-term vision either that we can see.
For some reason most sport bookies don’t have Ralph Krueger even in the top five of their lists of the next NHL coach to be fired, which is disturbing because it means they know something that only chills us to the bone, that Krueger is not going to get fired.
I leave you with this tweet, which turned out to be more prophetic than we could have ever imagined.
