What to Watch

1. Find Consistency

The Sabres have actually been playing well over the last few weeks winning five of their last seven games. Unfortunately, the losses have come against bad teams (Ottawa Senators) right when you think they can get back in the race perhaps. We’ll see if they can build on a big win yesterday on Pittsburgh or if the surging Jets will be too much.

2. Who’s in goal?

Carter Hutton played yesterday against the Penguins and in most cases the other goalie, in this case Jonas Johansson, goes in the second game of a back to back. However, after a rough start against the Anaheim Ducks last weekend, the Sabres have rode Hutton. We’ll see what Krueger decides to do today.
