The defenseman is back on a one-year, two-way contract for reasonable money
The Buffalo Sabres have a lot of housekeeping to do with the roster in the next few days, starting at tonight’s NHL Entry Draft, along with sending qualifying offers to their restricted free agents as well as using any buy-outs if they have to.
Today the Sabres announced that they are bringing defenseman Kale Clague back on a one -year, two-way contract for a reasonable sum of $775,000.
The d-man will provide familiar depth without necessarily squeezing the Sabres against the cap, having played 3 games last season and 33 the season before.
