Sabres announce final four cuts with rosters due today

The final roster and taxi squad are due to the NHL by 5 PM EST. today. It appears as though the Buffalo Sabres made their final training camp cuts this morning. They sent four more players down to the Rochester Americans of the AHL after sending eight down yesterday.

Today, Arttu Ruotsalainen, Jacob Bryson, Mattias Samuelsson, and Andrew Oglevie were the four players assigned to the Amerks. The plan, as of now, is for the Sabres AHL affiliate to open their training camp on Friday. They are still a few weeks away from their start date of February 4th.

They appear to have all of the players that will be on the active roster and taxi squad with them now. We’ll wait to see later tonight who ends up on which list. Jack Quinn is one of the players that will likely be on the taxi squad as the Sabres await clarity from the OHL on their season.

Dylan Cozens could be on the active roster or the taxi squad and the same goes for defenseman Will Borgen.
