Preseason Game #2
Columbus Blue Jackets (1-1-0) vs Buffalo Sabres (1-0-0)
Puck Drop: 7:00 PM Eastern Time | KeyBank Center, Buffalo
TV: Stream on Sabres.com (Buffalo broadcast market)
The Sabres and Blue Jackets are right back at it tonight, this time at KeyBank Center in Buffalo. After a sluggish start, the Sabres turned it up a notch and won going away last night in Columbus. A solid 4-0 shared shutout victory between Alexandar Georgiev and Devon Levi. Buffalo was getting shots, getting to the net and controlled most of the play. They were also blocking shot and dishing out some hits. It will be interesting to see if tonight’s batch of players can get similar results.
Alex Lyon looks to start in this one and go 2 periods like Georgiev did yesterday. Levi will once again get clean up duty in the third. I’m sure Lyon would like to match the strong performance put in by the Buffalo goaltending last night.
These are the projected lines for the Sabres from the morning skate:

Like Nationwide Arena last night, plenty of seats available at Keybank per Ticketmaster for this one. Many tickets incredibly affordable, starting at just $5.95 in the 300 sections. These prices are…. INSANE!
We won’t be doing any recaps for the earlier preseason games, so feel free to discuss the game results here too.
