Andrej Sekera To Play In KHL

Sekera has become the third Sabres player to sign a contract overseas.

First it was Christian Ehrhoff, then Tyler Ennis. Now, the agent for Andrej Sekera has announced that the Sabres defenseman has signed a contract to play with Slovan Bratislava of the KHL.

Sekera, who is from Slovakia and represented them in the most recent Olympic Games, is headed back to the motherland (or at least close to it) for the remainder of the lockout. He joins fellow NHLer Lubomir Visnovsky on Slovan Bratislava's roster, forming an unbeatable combination of superstar power that will surely rule the Kontinental Hockey League.

Ovie, you've been warned.
