Alexander Mogilny inducted into Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame

Alexander Mogilny may never have his number retired by the Sabres, but this year he’ll will enter the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame. The Sabre great was announced as one of 12 inducted members into the hall earlier today.

Mogilny played six seasons in Buffalo, scoring 211 goals and 233 assists in 381 games. He set the Sabres’ single-season record for goals with 76 in 1992-93. He is 11th in Sabres history in goals and 13th in points. He scored 473 goals and 559 assists over a 990 game career with four teams: Buffalo, Vancouver, New Jersey and Toronto.

This is the 26th class of the Hall of Fame, which was created in 1991. There are now 303 members.
