Going to be an early Sunday start for anyone wanting to watch the big finale of the Olympics men’s hockey tournament with United States of America taking on Canada for the gold medal.
The Buffalo Sabres’ Tage Thompson was a full participant in practice after leaving the semifinal game during the second intermission as a precautionary measure. Canada’s captain Sidney Crosby could be a gametime decision after sustaining a lower body injury in the quarterfinals.
Today also brings down the curtain on a highly entertaining and at times dramatic 2026 Winter Olympics, with the twin cities of Milan and Cortina bidding farewell to the athletes and spectators tonight.
