Congratulate Kim

Is it time to congratulate Kim Pegula?

The Pegulas acquired the Sabres in 2011.

Kim achieved a NHL record this season as President of the Sabres. Unfortunately, it's not the type of record one desires.

The Sabres failed to qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the 11th consecutive season this season, a NHL record. Add to that, Buffalo had the worst record in the NHL in 4 of the past 9 seasons.

If the Pegulas had a Hockey Operations Director with a track record like this, that person would have been fired long ago!!

But the Pegulas do not have a Hockey Operations Director to fire, just Kim as President.

Is it not time for the Pegulas to put their pride aside and hire an experienced Hockey Operations Director?

They have had great success with the Bills, and the Bandits for that matter. Why has it not happened with the Sabres?

The consensus seems to be that General Manager Kevyn Adams has the Sabres on the path to potentially qualifying for the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the next year or two.

Do you wait another year or two to see if that happens?

Should the Pegulas consider selling the Sabres to hockey people?

I don't know. What do you think?
