The Dallas Stars are hosting the Vegas Golden Knights
Game Details
8:30 ET, streaming live on ESPN+
This is going to be a great game between two evenly matched teams. The Golden Knights are looking to leap into the playoffs but the Stars look to make a statement on their home ice to secure their playoff spot.
Sabres fans will be paying close attention to the outcome of this game as the results could decide where our Vegas 1st Round Pick will land. A Vegas loss results in a better pick.
Some will be rooting against Eichel, Some will be rooting against Vegas...just because. Some will have an awful hard time rooting for the Stars.
Eichel
In his last five games, Eichel has one goal. That’s it. He’s also been getting his balls gnawed off by whoever he’s out there against. His Corsi-percentage in the last five games: 37.2, 63.7, 39.5, 44.9, and last night’s 40.1 beer fart. Even in that one dominant game, against Edmonton, the Knights lost 4-0. His expected goal percentage in those five: 42.9, 60.3, 53.1, 12.8 (!), and last night’s incomprehensible 8.
Robin Lehner is OUT
The Golden Knights have announced Robin Lehner will undergo season-ending surgery. He battled through a serious shoulder and leg injury this season, playing as long as he could to help the push for the playoffs.
