The Flyers and GM Chuck Fletcher just signed Rasmus Ristolainen (from now on, RR) to a whopper of an extension. Sit down and take this in, it's quite something --- 5 years, $25.5 million.

To say Flyer fans on their SB Nation site (Broad Street Hockey) are not amused is an understatement.

Good for RR, and good luck to him. But I'm delighted he's gone to be honest. And I would be furious if GM Kevyn Adams offered anything close to this kind of deal. A BIG overpay, IMO.
