Comets 3, Amerks 2 -- Quick Wrap, Nov. 18

Video/game summary links are below in the Comments section

The Thompson boys can't stop scoring.

Tage Thompson's younger brother Tyce Thompson scored with 2:13 left, and it proved the game winner. Tyce followed his sibling to UConn, and is next hoping to emulate Tage and make the NHL leap.

Malcolm Subban saw his first action in the Rochester net, stopping 22 of the 25 shots he faced. Subban suffered a pre-season injury before a flu bug hit him, and the Amerks goalie room hard last weekend.

Rochester forward Michael Mersch returned to the ice in nearly a month to have big night offensively (1 goal, 1 assist). Sean Malone scored Rochester's other goal. Brett Murray assisted on both.

No.2 star -- Michael Mersch

Rochester record: 7-5-1-1 (3rd place, AHL North Division)

Amerks next -- Nov. 19, at Utica (7 p.m.)
