NCAA Hockey Friday -- Mostly Michigan

Three Sabres' prospects played tonight, and while two saw games postponed by Covid-19.

The unlucky pair were Devon Levi (Northeastern) and Matteo Costantini (North Dakota). They had their weekend sets called off against Vermont and Omaha, respectively.

Michigan 3, Penn State 2

The Wolverines looked like the uber-talented team they are in the first period, scoring the game's first three goals. After that? Not so much.

Owen Power (No.22) is prominent in the below highlights. You'll see him involved in the Penn State zone often. The sophomore picked up one assist, and had two shots on net.

Erik Portillo had another solid outing in the Wolverine goal. The sophomore made 28 saves, and had to be strong late with Michigan hanging on.

The Wolverines moved to 17-6-1 overall, and 8-5 in Big Ten action.
