US, Canada to face off; Germany & Finland in other quarter

The 2021 IIHF Men’s World Championships wrapped up their quarterfinal action on Thursday afternoon, setting up some interesting semifinal games including Canada facing the United States (Tage Thompson). Germany (Tobias Rieder, JJ Peterka) will face Finland (Arttu Ruotsalainen) in the other semifinal, with both games held on Saturday.

Here’s what you missed in today’s action:
