NCAA Saturday Hockey -- Fair to Middling

Two Sabres' prospects played tonight, and the way the games went ... there's just not much to write about.

Highlights of four weekend games will be posted Sunday.

Ohio State 6, Michigan 1

Erik Portillo's GAA took a hit in this one. The sophomore yielded five of the goals, and was pulled after the final one midway through the third period.

Portillo made 33 saves. The Buckeyes outshot the Wolverines, 42-26.

Owen Power wasn't with Michigan all weekend in Columbus. The Sabres' recent No.1 draft pick is with Team Canada, getting ready for the upcoming Word Junior Championship.

Michigan next -- Dec. 29, vs. Michigan Tech, in Ann Arbor

North Dakota 4, Colorado College 1

Matteo Costantini didn't have any statistics in the box score, so it's difficult to tell if he dressed. A closer look at the video highlights may produce that information.

Costantini scored ND's second goal in its 5-2 Friday night win over the Tigers in Steamboat Springs.

North Dakota next -- Jan. 1, vs. US Under-18 Team, in Grand Forks
