2021 NHL Entry Draft: How To Watch, Sabres Picks & Day Two Open Thread

Day Two will see Rounds Two through Seven selected

Yesterday the Buffalo Sabres traded away defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen (story), picking up an additional first round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft. They used their first pick to draft defenseman Owen Power (story / interview), and then picked up forward Isak Rosen (story) at #14.

By the time we all wake up on Saturday Sam Reinhart’s trade to the Florida Panthers might be complete.

Sabres GM Kevyn Adams did some good work yesterday, but what he brings back for Reinhart and if he trades Eichel today might further cement that, or damn him like so many others that came before him in that position. He certainly didn’t look very convincing in his media call late last night.
