J-J Peterka records two assists in Germany’s win
Buffalo Sabres prospect J-J Peterka recorded two assists, including one on the overtime game-winner, in Germany’s 4-3 win over Slovakia Monday night in IIHF World Junior Championships action.
Peterka, who was also wearing the ‘A’ for his team, finished the night with two assists and three shots on goal. He played a total of 29:41 - including a whopping 3:30 of 4:01 in overtime! Peterka assisted on Florian Elias’ power-play goal late in the second period that tied the game at three, then notched the primary assist on the game-winner, also a power-play tally.
