Cozens produces six points in Canada’s first game

It was a banner night for Buffalo Sabres prospect Dylan Cozens, who recorded a hat trick and three assists in Canada’s 16-2 victory over a depleted German team on Saturday evening. Jack Quinn also notched one assist, while J-J Peterka had a goal and an assist for Germany. Defenseman Ryan Johnson recorded an assist in the United States’ 11-0 win over Austria later in the evening.

Peterka was involved in both German goals on Saturday. Here’s his tally:
