With the eighth-overall pick in the 2020 National Hockey League entry-level draft, the Buffalo Sabres selected forward Jack Quinn.

Quinn, 19 years old, has spent the last two full seasons with the Ottawa 67’s of the Ontario Hockey League.

Coming into Tuesday night, the National Hockey League’s Central Scouting had ranked Quinn as the seventh-best North American skater.

Following a 52 goal season with Ottawa, Quinn’s stock had him falling somewhere in upper half of the first round.
