Reinhart’s one-year deal carries an AAV of 5.2 million.

Last season, Reinhart scored amassed 50 points (22 goals. 28 assists) in 69 games.

Reinhart has spent his entire NHL career with the Buffalo Sabres. In those six seasons, Reinhart has totaled 255 points (109 goals, 146 assists) in 400 games.

The Buffalo Sabres PR department points out that Reinhart ranks second among all Sabres in total goals and points since he made his NHL debut in October 2014. Only Jack Eichel has more goals (137) and points (337).

Reinhart’s 146 assists rank him third among all Sabres skaters since his NHL debut in October 2014. Only Eichel (200) and Rasmus Ristolainen (183) have more.

Following the 2020-21 NHL season, Reinhart will find himself a restricted free agent for the final time.
