The Buffalo Sabres announced on Tuesday morning that they have recalled defenseman Lawrence Pilut from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Pilut, 24 years old, joins the Buffalo Sabres on his first recall of the season.
With the Rochester Americans this season, Pilut has excelled with 21 points (five goals, 16 assists) in 29 games.
Recently, Pilut was named to the AHL All-Star team for the second straight year.
No corresponding move was announced at the time of Pilut’s recall.
