United States’ tournament ends with loss

After quarterfinal play, Buffalo Sabres prospect Mattias Samuelsson’s time at the 2020 IIHF World Junior Championships is done. The United States fell to Finland 1-0 in Thursday’s semifinal. Matej Pekar and the Czech Republic are also done for the tournament after dropping a 5-0 decision to Sweden.
