For the second time this season, Luukkonen finds himself with the Rochester Americans.
Luukkonen, recently named to the ECHL All-Star Classic, has had a wonderful year with the Cyclones.
In 20 games, Luukkonen has posted a record of 12-5-3 with a 2.12 goals-allowed-average, a .917 save percentage and three shutouts.
While the Rochester Americans have struggled as of late, this move appears to be part of Luukkonen’s schedule. Rochester has five days until their next game, which would appear to give Luukkonen enough time to integrate himself into Rochester’s system.
