The Buffalo Sabres announced Friday morning that they have re-signed restricted free agent Johan Larsson to a one-year deal.

Larsson, 26 years old, has played all but one of his 331 career NHL games with the Buffalo Sabres.

Last season, Larsson tallied 14 points (six goals, eight assists) in a bottom-six role.

It remains to be seen what Larsson’s role will be within the Buffalo Sabres bottom-six next season but one thing is certain, he belongs on the team.
