2019 IIHF World Championships: Day 5 Update
Denmark, Latvia & Switzerland record shutout wins
Through five days of the 2019 IIHF World Championships, it’s certainly be an entertaining tournament. Both the United States and Canada were off today, so neither Jack Eichel nor Sam Reinhart were in action. Brandon Montour’s status going forward is unknown after he suffered an undisclosed injury in Canada’s win on Monday.
Eichel has recorded four assists in three games so far.
The United States has won twice so far. Overall, the US has outscored its opponents 11-7. Canada has also won twice and outscored their opponents 15-8.
