Sabres Announce Training Camp Start Dates

The Sabres announce players will report to training camp on September 13th

The Buffalo Sabres announced when their opening training camp and the schedule for the first weekend of camp. Practices will take place at HARBORCENTER on September 14, 15 and 16. All players will report to training camp for their physicals on September 13.

Here is the full practice schedule for the first few days of camp via the Sabres press release:

Friday, Sept. 14

Session one: 9:45 – 10:20 a.m. (New Wave Energy Rink) / 10:25 – 11:15 a.m. (KeyBank Rink)

Session two: 11:45 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. (New Wave Energy Rink) / 12:25 – 1:15 p.m. (KeyBank Rink)

Saturday, Sept. 15

Session one: 9:45 – 10:20 a.m. (New Wave Energy Rink) / 10:25 – 11:15 a.m. (KeyBank Rink)

Session two: 11:45 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. (New Wave Energy Rink) / 12:25 – 1:15 p.m. (KeyBank Rink)

Sunday, Sept. 16

Practice: 9:45 – 10:15 a.m. (Both rinks)

Scrimmage: 10:30 – 11:15 a.m. (KeyBank Rink)

The team will then open their preseason on Monday, September 17 against the Columbus Blue Jackets and will play again the following night at KeyBank Center against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Also, don’t forget the Prospects Challenge begins next week Friday on September, 7 and carries through to the 10th.
